Eric Valdes from Facebook says: "Great park, ran by a nice and helpful guy. The history of the park and the scenery is one of the best. Great trails challenging for everyone."

Robert Brooks from Facebook says: "After viewing the web site and here on FB I have found the park to be the next big place to recreate at. The facilities and accommodations appear to invite guest in. It would be nice to see "Directions" from far away locations (Atlanta, Louisville, etc) to make it a bit easier to arrive at the park. I see a park that has a great future ahead of it for all to enjoy. I can’t wait to be able to have the privilege of being at this park soon."

Lisa Elrod posted on facebook: "Golden mountain park is an aweaome place for four wheeling, there is six very nice bunk rooms, places for camping, pavillions, rv hookups, fishing ponds and much more.We love it!"

The bunkhouses are a bit small and plain but new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The trails were marked well with a main road to get in and out. Our group took 6 rigs, all with 38 to 54 inch tires and found some tough trails. One of us either rolled over, broke a sway bar, snapped a u joint, twisted a drive shaft in two, or broke a lock out hub off. At the end of two days there we have all decided to go back and attack the trails again. Thanks Golden Mountain for a super weekend.

I visited in the Fall of 2009. Very beautiful park, very well maintained. Had trails to challenge all levels of drivers and vehicles. Was there all day and still didn’t cover all the acres of trails that are available. Would definitely like to return.

I was there this past weekend (7/17-18 2010) with a group of six jeeps. A couple of us had bunk rooms and we all had use of Pavilion #3 for Saturday night and Sunday. It all worked out great for us as we were able to set back to a great meals and good story telling both days under the pavilion. The Bunk Rooms were very clean and user friendly. The trails offered excitment for our group both before and after a small rain shower that moved past on Sunday morning. This was my first trip to Golden Mountain but will not be my last. PS the workers were very helpfull and took good care of us during our stay!!!!
