Golden Mountain Park

The gang from Southern Four Wheel Drive Association was at the park last weekend for the 2010 Dixie Run. The turnout was amazing and the weather was even better. We greatly appreciate Chris Knox and everyone else from SFWDA putting on such a great event. Below are some photos from the event. We are already anticipating next year’s “Dixie Run 25″. (more…)

Thanks to Jake White from Carto Tracks, we have a brand spanking new GPS-correct trail map. It also includes all of the new difficulty levels for the trails. You can see a preview version and download the printable PDF on the Maps page.

We had a group of guys come to the park this weekend to begin remapping the trails here at GMP. Very soon, we will have an GPS-accurate map of all of the trails and detailed difficulty information for each trail. We will also provide the GPS file on the site for you to download into your GPS system.

For your convenience, we have created and posted a PDF version of our release waiver. It is available for download at the top of the Rules page. This form is necessary for any minors entering the park. Minors not accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians are required to have the form notarized prior to entering the park.
